Hello there.

My name is Lydiane, and on behalf of TFS, I would like to apologise for the lateness of this reply regarding your message on the square brackets matter. Your comment, dear sir, is very much appreciated.

You see, when this blog first started out, we all agree--or at least, I convinced the others that the use of these square brackets would help readers to see the significance of the last sentence as some of these last sentences bear no sense at all when published alone.

I understand the sentiment. The brackets *are* off-putting, and I cringe every time. And to compromise, TFS has decided to avoid including these penultimate sentences and hence, avoiding the usage of brackets altogether but only if the nature of the last sentence doesn't really require it/them.
